I haven’t yet chosen which beard I’ll be wearing, but It’s likely to be the shorter full set with a slight sprinkling of grey. :grinning:

I will be there hefyd at 4pm on the Wednesday - I’ll be the one with no beard; unless something uncontrollable happens between now and then. Nic

I think Maes D is open till 5pm so would it be best to meet there before it closes? This is a question not a suggestion.

Does it suit?

I’m going to suggest 3pm on the Wednesday, as I said earlier. @tatjana’s bus goes back to Cardiff at 6 pm so if it’s later she will miss out on time with her SSIW friends.

Hmm… I can see a trend starting. Should I get a false beard? A bit like the women in Life of Brian…

I shall expect a lot of pictures posted on the Forum of you all, with and without beards, on various parts of the Maes!!

Any face painting on the Maes, Dee? Then we can all come with beards.

Apart from a very brief spell about 40 years ago when I shaved off my beard and both my daughters shrank from me in horror, I have had a beard more or less since my voice broke. However, I wouldn’t want people to think of me as beardist. Some of my best friends don’t have beards - they’re all women of course.

Well, I wasn’t going to gwisgo a beard but, with Dee’s call to arms, I am tempted to create a fanciful, buffant, off-the-shoulder concoction, terminating in a magnificent plaited comb-under. I’ll just need to take some measurements to make certain that it is, at least, anatomically possible, before investing heavily in hair-styling products and animal hormone supplies. So, you should recognise me: I’ll be the one making farmyard noises and reading a copy of Der Spiegl, whilst being roundly ushered towards the exit by several burly stewards, shouting, “Beth am yni cymryd chi nol a’r fferm darlin?”

My mother tells the story of being a fairly new mother at home in bed by herself. My father came home from the pub after a bit to drink and decided that would be the time to shave off his beard, without which she had never seen him. He got into bed and after a short period of time she proceeded to scream the house down. Who was this strange, beardless, man in her bed?

Sooooooooooooooooooooo Maes D, we’re comming (with or without beard)

Now I actually have to wear that famous hat. This should be fun!

Brilliant Dee, for once I won’t look out of place.
