Can anybody give me an idea about when the crowning ceremony will end tomorrow? I can see from the programme that it starts at 16.30 but not when it finishes. Diolch
You can park at my house for free! I live in the street opposite the turning to the MD - approximately a three-minute walk. It’s permit-holders only, but we have a visitors’ permit. PM if you’d like to do that

True, but I really wanted to say,that I saw you on Dal ati and I think you were as good as any of the others. It doesn’t help that they put the program together after choosing the 5 to go through and so gave them longer on screen than the rest of you! I suspect that they didn’t think you were doing as much for your community as the winners, but based on what was shown, they only really asked you about SSiW and you certainly demonstrated that it works! You also showed that you speak totally naturally with a lot of humour!!
Probably too late to answer this now, and I’m not an authority, but as far as I remember from previous years, it lasts about an hour. However:
- It depends if it is won. If there is no actual crowning it is over faster!
- After the Crowning, the Procession slowly leaves all in a long, slow progress which must take quite a long time! The TV follows the Archdruid and Crowned Bard and I usually go off to have my tea, so I can’t be sure at what stage the audience can escape!

Diolch @henddraig for your kind words. I thought that the community bit, and plans for the future where the weak bit, and possibly I didn’t look the part. There was a certain sameness about those who did get through I felt.

There seem to be two of us providing badges (mine available only on Wednesday after 11-ish), but the more the merrier, I say.

@netmouse - if you’re going to be on the Maes before Wednesday, you’d be the obvious choice - can you perhaps post here to say when you’ll be there?
