I received my tickets today for 10th and 11th August. I’ll be there after my Taith Heb Saesneg cycle ride from Caergwbi.
I’ll miss the Eisteddfod this year but I’ll definitely attend in 2020 -

I arrive on the Saturday, leave on the Friday. Karla is competing at 5.30 on Thursday. We won’t want to miss that!

What are we all thinking?
I’m going to be in Caerdydd for the week, but I’ll be working so available some of the time, and running hangouts at other times, but I’ll be around as much as possible.
What do people think of buying a SSiW t-shirt from here SSiW on Zazzle and all wearing them at the same time? We could attract a bit of attention for SSiW while having a good time socialising

Certainly an idea!
I’m noticing more and more events popping up with SSIW’ers involved. Karla’s performance, Elizabeth’s talk, Neil Parallel’s talk (which I’ve been invited to take part in).
If we get a couple more people involved, I’m wondering if there’d be any use in me making a bit of a SSIW-Planner, so people know where to catch all of us!

It gives a warning about pixel problems but I ignored it and purchased anyway but may be worth investigating.

I’ve just done the same. I don’t know how long it will take them to manufacture them so I figured we don’t have time to mess about with a pixel issue right now, but something to sort out moving forward.
I’m hoping that if enough people start ordering them, they will manufacture them sooner rather than later, but I’m having mine sent to my friends’ in Caerdydd, just in case they take their time!

I got a different t-shirt from zazzle recently, which I ordered on 2nd July, was produced by 7th July, and arrived yesterday - so there ought still to be time before the steddfod …
I am worried by the pixelation warning though - does anyone know who made the SSIW logo?
If it would be possible to have access to the original file I’d be happy to have ago at figuring out how to export it at a higher resolution. Then it’s quite straightforward for individuals to do a custom T-shirt on zazzle, using such a file.
Or perhaps whoever set up the zazzle SSIW ‘shop’ could re-upload a higher resolution version for the T-shirt in question (which is the one with nothing but just the logo on: “say something in Welsh” with a draig goch saying Welsh in a green speech bubble)?

From what I remember, the largest size we could send was still triggering a warning, but seemed to be printing okay, which is probably why I got lazy about it - genuinely not sure where the [expletive deleted] original image file is by now…

i’d like a planner if possible, i’m working in cardiff that week, just going to gig y pafiliwn and then have the day off on the 8th, so potentially other evenings free…
I’m happy to make a planner, along the lines of
“SSIW related activities - and things that SSIW’ers recommend…”
So, does everyone want to have a look at the guides and put together some recommendations of things that could be good for us lot (i.e things that either we’re directly involved in, events that may be aimed at learners, or bands/gigs that you’d recommend).
I’ll get cracking on it then
