Doing PDF file is simple and easy and you don’t even need to use Adobe PDF for that. All you need is written text a bit formated (might be Word or so) and freeware pdf virtual printer. I’m using BullZip for that and it’s really easy as if you would be printing just it creates PDF file or .tiff format (what your desires are. Instead of printing you save to file and the thing is done.
I’m one of many who can assure you @alunmorgan this works just fine. I had no problems so far.

This takes us up to 30 members on the first level and 13 on the second - which means that as soon as Jeff gets home from taking his daughter to university, you are going to see a surge of new publishing for the Welsh (and the tail end of L2 Spanish) as a direct result of the Growth Club. We really can’t thank you enough… 
And I’ll get the previous episodes (perhaps at this stage without the transcripts, which I, er, might not have kept, it turns out) up today…
Is that allowed that those Growth club members on 2nd level (as you say) exchange transcripts among themselves. I’d gladly convert them to PDF and put them on to be to disposal to only those 2nd level members to get them, but it’d be like me getting “forbidden” content as I didn’t sign for 2nd but 1st level membership. .
So I (unfortunately) can not help much here.

I know it’s not but I more thought about taking some “burden” from your (or anyone’s) shoulder for that matter … 
Several people appear to have missed the announcement of the creation of the Growth Club. I wonder if it may help to reintroduce the announcement IN A HIGH PROFILE WAY- at practical intervals - so that those who may want to join have a chance to do so.

Doesn’t help if you only access the forum once a week and the thread is lost amongst a week’s worth of updates.
If only there was some sort of way of making newsworthy announcements and having them stick around in amongst a collection of other newsworthy items such that sporadic forum users would have a way to go catch up on all the latest newsworthy in the world of SSi
How about a thread for the announcements of the updates, no discussion? Then it would be possible to get notifications for the updates.
Of course, if you could get announcement when the actual page where the files are is updated…
Well, I believe this would do no particular improvement of awareness of the Growth Club. All what I understood the suggestion was here is that people should see this particular thread and with that be aware The Growth Club exists and they can become the members if they didn’t already.
I believe pinning the topics still doesn’t quite work but with pinning it the problem of visibility would be somehow solved.

Aye aye, I hear you, and I will try to be more regular with the News section - but I’m not sure there are any particularly easy solutions to the whole ‘reminding/introducing to the right people at the right time’ thing…
Tyger might be on the money in terms of a built-in alert for the file page… perhaps even via email…
Well, @aran, what about putting thing into newsletter each time as something like “If you missed maybe or you’re new, we would like to inform you that here’s a Growth Club you can become a member of and with that contribute to the faster growth of the SSi. More details here.” and you can put the link in to the first post of this thread. I mean just like @Deborah-SSi puts the list of meetups and such things into the newsletter so she could put this in too every single time (or every now and then if this is more suitable).
Sure, it’s do-able - although to be honest, I think most of the ‘regular’ bits in the email get skimmed over (which is reasonable enough)…

I think the Growth Club is such a good idea that it deserves a periodic announcement, AS IF IT WERE NEW (and maybe together with a newsletter).
