- Which phrase/proverb/saying, in your opinion is overused?
Every cloud has a silver lining.
- Which phrase/proverb/saying, in your opinion should be used more often?
Think on.
- Which phrase/proverb/saying do you think is often misused?
Not misused, perhaps, but rarely quoted in full:
“Needs must, when the devils drives”.

Proverbs: 26:22. There are of course various translations of this, and I can’t find the one I was thinking of (and can’t remember it exactly), so I’ll go with this one, which is near enough:
"Gossip is so tasty! How we love to swallow it! "
.
Not favourite, but one I found recently:
angel pen ffordd, diawl pen pentan
Angel abroad, devil at home.
Also:
Not a saying exactly, but a distinction:
dyn mawr bach a dyn bach mawr
big but insignificant, small and significant
