I read Some Sex and A Hill and found to be a great and inspiring book. Somehow I missed the sex part, but that’s O.K. I realized had many of the same feelings as Aran and cared more about learning Welsh than sex in the end.

Diolch, Siarl! Yes, sorry for that bait and switch :rofl:

Diolch for the response Aran. Truly did enjoy Sex and a Hill and also High Intensity Language Training. You’re an inspiration!

Just wondering: did you ever get to the hard copy or audiobook? My curiosity for the book is about as big as my loathing for Amazon :innocent:

Mmm - I started recording an audiobook, and then I got lazy and unmotivated - hard copies are available, but only via the stomping brute that is Amazon, I’m afraid. But as long as you promise not to tell anyone, I could probably dig out a pdf of it from somewhere.

Second hand paperbacks can be bought from worldofbooks - wob.com
Also from abebooks.co.uk

I’ve just checked World of Books, and they are, at least, a British company that I don’t know any ill of; but I’m afraid that abebooks has been owned by Amazon since 2008, unfortunately.

Wait, people don’t want to keep my book for ever?!

That’s very unsettling news.

Huh. I did not know that about Abe books. C’est la vie. :slightly_frowning_face:
