Courtesy of @cathfincher have been using a ‘geirfa gradd canolfan’ to help build my vocab. Because it’s in alphabetical order, it becomes very obvious when there are groups of words that, to my anglo-habituated brain, are confusingly similar. So I have been inventing silly sentences to help me remember which is which. I am particularly proud of this one:
Oedd gen i llwyaid o llwydd yn cario’r lwyth lwyd i fyny grisiau i’r lwyfan. (I had a spoonful of success carrying the grey load up the stairs to the stage.)
