Mark Steel's in Town: St Davids (BBC Radio 4)

I always enjoy “Mark Steel’s in Town” (BBC Radio 4) whenever I hear it (usually only by chance, to be honest), but I like his warm-hearted ability to gently take the micky without causing offence.

And although the programme is of course in English, he does say a few words in Welsh at the end, and the credits are spoken in Welsh, presumably by a local.

We saw him in Caernarfon last Nov, but sadly it wasn’t recorded. He was very, very funny about the Caernarfon slang and the area in general. And he had a go at some Welsh!

Definitely would recommend seeing him live if you ever get the chance.
