S’mae Pawb, Just a reminder of the Llon-dain walk this coming Sunday. The meeting point is still Canada Water station in Rotherhithe which has three exits and we will be meeting outside the library exit. When you come through the barriers the exit is directly in front of you (though you can’t actually see the stairs). If you emerge from the station from a different exit the library is on the edge of the lake and the exit from the station is immediately next to the library entrance. Looking forward to seeing you there. Any problems drop me a line. Hwyl, Peter
S’mae Pawb,
The next Llon-dain walk will be on the 7th June starting at 2.00pm. At the moment it is not certain where we will be going but it is likely that we will end up at Alexandra Palace after walking along an old railway to the palace. As usual, Welsh of all levels is welcome so come along and practice and raise your ‘hyder’ if needed.
More details to come but, hopefully not confusing matters, here is a map of the walk we did in April.
Hwyl,
Peter
The Starting Gate pub is next to AP station on the east side and The Victoria Stakes to the south west. ![]()

S’mae Pawb,
Our next Llon-dain is on Sunday (7th June) and, as usual, we will meet at 2.00pm. The meeting point is the gate into Finsbury Park next to Lidl just one minute walk from Finsbury Park Station. We will be walking to Alexandra Palace and end with a drink either at the terrace outside the Palace or in a local pub (@andrewowen thanks for the suggestions).
The walk is for any standard of Welsh speaker so all are welcome. We’ve done this one before and most of the route is along an old railway track.
Look forward to seeing you there. Any questions, get in touch.
Hwyl,
Peter
Not the best map (and both map and pic a bit late) but this was our walk a fortnight ago. It was a good four mile stroll and we ended up having a drink on the terrace of Alexandra Palace. Will let everyone know of the next one. Hwyl, Peter
Lovely to see you all! ![]()
