Arguing in Welsh!

If my wife says: I was NOT shouting loudly! (Do 'n i ddim yn gweiddi’n uchel!?) and I want to say simply “Yes, you were!” How is that said in Welsh?

Might be safer to say “dw i’n mynd i’r sied”. Pob lŵc😜

“Do, mi oeddet ti!” - yes you were

“Mi oeddet ti YN gweiddi!” - you were shouting

“Paid a deud celwydd!” - don’t lie

“Dw i ddim yn fyddar!” - I’m not deaf

“Ti fel utgorn!” - you’re like a trumpet

“Pwylla nei di!” - calm down

“Ti isho gwin?” - do you want wine

“Ti isho cwtsh?” - do you want a hug

I can see that going down well here … though I’d hate to think where she’d stick the trumpet…

“Naw deg tri decibels i fod yn union” usually works for me (and I’ve got the equipment to back it up)
