Would anyone know how I can access Radio Cymru in Australia. It may not be possible but you never know.
Diolch yn fawr Karla. I’ll try it right now. Do you join the Aussie Skype group? I’m going to join in next time. I’ve sent a request to Allan. You wouldn’t be in Brisbane by any chance?
I have been to the Aussie Skype group once, unfortunately I’ve been busy every other time it’s been on. I’ll try to make it this time!
And I’m from Melbourne, I’m afraid. If you’re ever down south though, let me know and we can meet up for a chat.
I’ll definitely do that. Thank you.
i found the website worked fine, but the iPhone app wouldn’t play.
Shwmae @lynne_freudigmann ,
As well as the main website link already given, have a look at the podcasts:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/podcasts/radiocymru
and the schedule:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/radiocymru/programmes/schedules#on-now
Any programme in the schedule that has a “play” icon in the graphic (which is most of them after the live broadcast has gone out) can be accessed from the website (iPlayer facility) usually for up to about 28 days after the day of broadcast (occasionally for longer).
Pob hwyl yn gwrando,
Mike
The tunein radio app has Radio Cymru in its large list of stations, so that will work on iOS thingies
Oh great, thanks Mike. I’ll check it out.
Thanks for that tip Louis.
@lynne_freudigmann From my experiences I can say that TuneIn app (or listening directly from TuneIn Website) is superb thing. I’m using it regularly for listening to all online radio stations, even Slovene ones and, if you’d like, you can set yourself a profile (sign in) and have all radio stations you’re listening in your Favourites (or any map in your profile for that matter) so you don’t need to search for them over and over again. It’s free to sign in. The same thing works on Website or in app itself so you’ll always have everything on the reach of hand (or ear if you want) to listen to.
Enjoy!
Thanks for that tatjana.
