Looking forward to watching some of S4Cs comprehensive coverage of, Yr Urdd, which this year comes from Caerphilly. Over three thousand children take part during the week and pretty impressive they all are as, they compete in the myriad of competitions. This is a really great insight into - Cymru A’r Diwylliant Cymreig / Wales And Welsh Culture - and, to my mind, its beating heart.
The opening concert kicks of at 20:30 tomorrow and through the week from ten everyday.

I was at the Urdd yesterday and really enjoyed it. The sun was shining, the place was packed, there were loads of interesting stands and many opportunities to practice Cymraeg. Even had a very brief mouthed exchange with Tommo through the glass of the Radio Cymru booth! : -)
