Hello!
Is anyone working through the Portuguese course? I just started it to prep for a trip to Portugal I’ll be taking in 2 months.
My aunt is half Portuguese and also speaks Spanish (myself included). I’ll try practicing with her 
looking forward to seeing how much I can learn within the next 60 days. 
I’ve only gone through some while testing it, but I have to say that I found myself thinking, “That is EXACTLY how they speak!” on numerous occasions.
I had Brazilian acquaintances when I lived in Australia, and I could understand a lot of what they said just from my knowledge of Spanish, but when I visited Portugal I understood virtually nothing! I got quite excited testing the SSi course, and I have plans to go through it, then visit Portugal again.
I’m 100% sure it will make a huge difference, so I’m very keen to hear what your thoughts will be after the trip.
Excellent! I will keep this thread updated after some time 
so far Portuguese has been pretty straight-forward, seeing how I was raised partly in Spanish. That said I’m still struggling with the pronunciation
