Do these both mean ‘can you’? Are they used in different situations or constructions eg with ‘ddweud wrtha i’?

They can sort of both translate to “can you” in English, but that’s because the English is being a bit vague - we say “can you open the window?” but we could mean “are you able to open the window?” or “will you open the window?”
The Welsh verbs are a bit more precise!
wnei di = will you (do)
allet ti = are you able to
