Sain Ffagan has to be one of my favourite places in south Wales. You can easily spend an entire day there and still not have seen everything - but best of all, most of the staff and volunteers speak Welsh! It’s a great place to get a little practice while you immerse yourself in Welsh history seeing how ordinary people used to live in days gone by.
They also hold special events to celebrate specific times of year, and the Winter / Christmas events are always a delight! They have activities for children and families, as well as the general public, so keep an eye on their website if you’re going to be in the area:
