I am an elderly technophobe who finds the old course of 25 half hour lessons very easy to use and enjoyable. Please can we keep them?! I am worried it seems they may be got rid of! Please can someone reassure me as I am not keen to get my head around anything new.

Unfortunately it was aimed to put those lessons away when the new course would be totally completed and well accepted by the users, but since you can find old Spanish courses again (they weren’t to be find some time in the past) I believe the old Welsh would stay here at least for a while. But @aran or @Iestyn surely cna say all about the plans for the old material though.
Hwyl!

Do you mean the standard format Challenges? I’m fairly sure that there’s no intention to bin them, as they are an optional way of learning if you dont fancy the structured approach.
On the other hand if you mean the original Lessons, I think they will be around for a good while also as requested by some members.
Helo,
I vote to keep the old material too please, because it remains extremely helpful alongside the new.
If I want to get those mutations sorted, there are some lessons dedicated to that. If I want to master short-form verbs there are lessons devoted to that. Think about them as a parallel guidebook to certain structures, and their extra vocabulary units as revisions for days of the week, months of the year etc.
What would be absolutely brilliant would be a summary table of contents or lesson sub-titles that identify any focussed material in them as a go-to ready reference. I just know the ones I refer to at need.
They definitely enhanced my overall grasp of the language even though the new material works wonders to get us talking.
Diolch yn fawr iawn,
Mari
Yes, that’s kind of sort of partly on the to do list…
Gwych!
