What triggers this mutation?

I can’t work out what causes “meddwl” to mutate in a sentence like this:
Beth wyt ti’n feddwl o…?

I’m sure it’s obvious but I can’t see it!

Now I see it! Somehow typing out the question made me see what I was missing.
It is the unsaid “ei” that does it. Twpsyn!

Insulting learners is not allowed here. Please try to speak better of Michael going forwards. He’s a smart guy who worked out the answer without any input from others, so there’s certainly to need to go calling him a twpsyn. :face_with_tongue:

Pfft, those posts were 6 mins apart. More impatient than slow, methinks.

I used to work with a couple of people whose desks faced each other. One of them constantly asked questions of the other, then immediately answered her own questions. It was hilarious! But as she said, the action of putting her question into words, helped her to see the answer. It’s a good technique!
