I will be visiting south wales in about a month and want to go to somewhere where a lot of welsh is spoken (sadly I know that’s not abertawe).
Are there any particular areas where a lot of welsh is spoken in the south?
How about ammanford?

I have usually found lots of Welsh spoken in Llandeilo (which is a lovely little town), and Llandysul might be another good bet. Or perhaps Treorchy, with its prize-winning high street? 
I’m sure people will have other suggestions as well!

Penarth has a Welsh-speaking deli/cafe… Foxy’s opposite the station. It’s lovely! Sian, the owner, is a native Welsh speaker.
