I don’t think anyone posted this song by Adwaith yet, but I really love its clean, heartfelt simplicity. The best part is that I could understand fragments of it the first time I played it! I am not quite finished with Level 1 Challenge 4 yet, so that was really exciting!

Well, since this is a thing about Welsh music I think I should post this here. I’ve recently got myself a book Cân Di Bennill and for now I’m aimed to slowly go through the songs and search them on YouTube or SoundCloud in order to know how they’re sang. There are music sheets but I’m not good at reading them though. Well, I’ve got stucked at the very beginning already so I’m asking if someone else can find me a vocal version of “Ap Siencyn” song. Note that “David Ap Siencyn” isn’t the right one but all other I find are just instrumentals but what’s vital to me is how the words are sang.

Adwaith is one of my favorite bands. They’ve got a great sound and I think they would play really well in the US. It’d be easier for them to come to the east coast than it would be for me to get my family to Wales.
I was able to get the lyrics to this song. I posted a question on Reddit and someone from Ochr1 copied my question to Adwaith’s Insta and they replied. Below are the lyrics and my translation.
