Hi, I hope ok to use this topic to save too many similar threads.
Anyone with local knowledge (Knighton area).
How do you pronounce Frydd Wood please. It’s near Bleddfa.
It’s just that I don’t want to sound hyper Welsh around the border if you get my meaning. I got caught out with Clun in the past.
Hope it’s ok to repost on this one even though it’s a little old. I was looking for the same thing.
I saw National Geographic has made of Wales with Cymraeg names, that looks pretty sharp. But nothing of the world.
I also found this one, it shows a lot of old maps of Wales.
And I’ve heard of this one Historical Atlas of Wales, by William Rees, but never gotten a hold of copy.
I’ve made a world map (just the country names and a few places in the UK and Ireland) of Manx Gaelic. If anyone wants to take a look http://www.manxmap.com/
Has anyone seen an online map of the world in Welsh? (or Gaeilge or Gàidhlig if anyone knows) Ok bye!
