One handy short phrase I’ve heard a few times on S4C and Radio Cymru is “go brin” for “hardly”.

An equivalent is apparently: “o’r braidd”

(we also know “braidd” as meaning “rather”…kind of an opposite meaning, but this sort of thing seems typical in Welsh :slight_smile: ).

One my partner likes to use.

‘Fel rhech mewn pot jam’- Like a fart in a jam jar. / Useless

Noticed this useful one in GK’s grammar book:

“hen ddigon” - "quite enough"or “more than enough”.

There is also “hen bryd” - something like “high time” or “about time”.
