Last time I was in Cardiff my mum dug out my great aunt’s old bakestone and gave it to me. I bought a copy of ‘Welsh bakestone cookery’ the same day in St Fagans forgetting I already had one! It’s only small so if anyone would like it I’d be happy to pop it in the post.
I made welsh cakes for Dydd Gwyl Dewi on the bakestone and they came out very well.
