I haven’t read it all yet, and I’ll PM you with a couple of typos I found, but there’s one that may be a typo, or may be regional variation. So maybe others will chime in on it?
Menyw as meaning female. On the Southern course, menyw is the word for “woman” ie female human, and this is the same in Gweiadur, which also gives benyw for “female”. They both become fenyw with soft mutation, which is potentially confusing, and a good argument for using dynes for humans instead.
I’ll have to talk to Rhys, the translator who edited it, about that.

Both menyw and benyw are acceptable as “female”(noun), and yes, both mutate to f in soft mutation, but it doesn’t really matter whether you un-mutate that to a b or an m.
Just for clarification, “female”(adjective) is benywaidd (always with a b). This also soft-mutates to f, but in this case the f is always un-mutated to b, never m.
