Vocabulary (again)

To sum up then, it would appear that the general consensus is not to try to learn lots of vocabulary in isolation but to let it develop naturally through conversation and reading. I’ve been reading the “Blodwen Jones” books by Bethan Gwanas and found them hilarious, although frequent dipping into the dictionary was needed to make sense of them. However WORDS ARE STICKING!!
I’ve also looked at Memrise. Might be useful, but a Gog version would be more useful still. However as jeffanderson says it’s probably useful to know both forms. “Mae — gyda fi” seems very awkward compared with “Mae gen I—” though.
I feel now that this string is becoming rather long so I suggest if anything further needs to be added that the contributor might like to start a new one.
Thanks to everyone who has contributed. I have found your words of wisdom extremely useful and I also hope that others have benefitted from your help.
