This sounds like a lovely project for anyone interested in singing the Welsh National Anthem!
We are Choirs For Good, a non-profit that aims to improve health and wellbeing through singing. As part of an online St David’s Day concert called Gwlad!, we are running a one-off virtual choir project to record the national anthem, and we would love to invite your singers to take part!
The virtual choir video we create will be the finale of the concert, and the choir will sing the anthem with John Owen-Jones! Other performers in the concert will include Only Men Aloud, Rhod Gilbert, The West End of Wales Orchestra, Lucie Jones, and more.
So how can your singers get involved? It’s easy!

They’ll be able to register for the project, which costs £3 to join, and will instantly be able to download a resource pack with everything they need to get singing. There will be one (optional) Zoom rehearsal on Sunday 14th February at 3pm. This will be a chance for our choir leaders to teach and rehearse the song with everyone.
Then the singers record themselves singing and submit it to us online!
Singers who join the project will receive a discount code to apply to their ticket for the full concert on St David’s Day. (And the national anthem video will be available online afterward for anyone who wasn’t able to watch the concert.)
