Hello All. I have been coming around here starting and stopping for several years.and getting nowhere due to time investment. However, now I am retired…well, semi retired… and I am now able to give it the time required ..
I am having a problem wrapping my head around.something.
I am on lesson 12 course 1 but felt a need to back track and review a little.
My question is in the sentence Me divierte la oportunidad de practicar in lesson 5 why is de used? If Practicar is the infinitive form of the verb then isnt the de redundant as Practicar alone already means TO practice?? wouldnt that read as I enjoy the opportunity to to practice? the second to being redundant? How does this work because I get hung up everytime I come across a similar situation. I am studying the spanish but I guess I still have a tendency to think it in english.
A few other issues as well but this one first. Then we can get to the use of Que.
thankyou in advance
