I just completed #8 and I was wondering about the use of usted in nearly every sentence. In normal speech, you wouldn’t use it that much because presumably you already know who your talking about or who you are addressing, right? I find I sometimes leave it out when I repeat it. I know the verb is conjugated for usted/he/she, so in regular, polite but not overly formal speech, you don’t use usted/he/she except for emphasis, right?

Hola Anna,
Yes, you’re completely right. In Spanish we are not required to use the pronoun in every sentence, so it is only used for emphasis or to make clear who you are talking about. You can totally leave it out and sound completely natural in your everyday interactions.
Saludos,
Gaby
