Hi, Linda. I’ve put you on the map in Thrussington. I’m not sure what you mean about not seeing anyone else on the map. Are you talking about on the map(s) at all or do you mean near you?

If it is “near you” - you are right, there don’t seem to be any markers very near you, though there is one in Leicester. There are a lot more up toward Derby and Nottingham, and even more down toward Birmingham.

Thanks for putting me on the map. On my laptop ,on the map page there are 3 rectangles but they are blank. Not sure what to do!

Huh, that’s odd, Linda. They sometimes take a while to load, but once they do they should show different areas with map pins on them. I will flag this for @aran to see if he has any suggestions.

Hmm - my guess would be that you might be running an older version of a browser, Linda, and would perhaps benefit from updating it - worth a check?

S’mae! Fascinating to read this thread. Makes me wonder why so many people from so many places around the world want to learn Welsh. For me it’s to get back to my roots. Please put me on the map, Sionned. I’m in Listowel, N4W 3V9, a small town two hours drive northwest of Toronto.

Pretty straightforward, really. Just tell me (either here or in a private message) where you are located, with as much detail as you like, and I’ll put a marker on the map for you. Some people give me their full street address, or at least their post code. Or just the name of the town they live in.

It is best to at least give me a town name. If you just say “I live in South Wales” or “I live in Connecticut” that is really an area a bit to large for any accuracy at all.
