Aha! I thought I’d confused myself as much as I’d confused you for a moment - just went and looked through a bunch of pdf files to see if I could find what I was referring to! - and then thought to check the comments after completing Challenge 2, where you’ll find:

It may sound mildly terrifying, but now would actually be a brilliant time for you to start looking for a practice partner on the forum, and planning a weekly ‘3 minute swap’, where you say whatever you can think of in Spanish for 3 minutes, and then your partner does the same. People who do this see a huge difference in their ability and their confidence.

Are there any Spanish learner conversation groups around Cardiff who meet in the same fashion as SSIW Groups? Gareth

I haven’t heard of any, Gareth, but at this stage it might be a good idea to ask this particular question over on the Welsh board - Dee in particular might know how best to find out

Hola! There was a group meeting in Chapter Arts Centre on a Thursday night, BUT I don’t know if they still meet plus when I went along (over a year ago now) I found they were mostly quite advanced and there was a LOT of background noise making it difficult to hear. I have vaguely heard that there might be a group over at Milgi’s but that was a while ago too. You could try asking there if it’s convenient for you. Sorry I can’t be of more help.

I do know someone who is going to adult Spanish classes in Cardiff though, so I’ll ask him if they have any casual conversation groups going.
