My husband is learning Welsh. I began learning during Covid and am almost at the end of level 3. My husband’s app is obviously the newer version with the Welsh written on the screen. How can I upgrade my version?

You can’t upgrade the version you are using, as it is a completely new app. Search the play store for “SaySomethingin”, that’s the new version you are looking for. The icon looks like this:
