Some Sex and a Hill

I’ve just started reading Aran’s book and am laughing out loud. I’d bought it a few years ago on the advice of a former Welsh teacher but not read it. Now having nearly completed level two challenges I can hear Aran’s voice as I read and it’s wonderful! Diolch yn fawr iawn Aran :rofl::rofl:

I feel as if I ought to apologise for you being stuck with my voice in your head, but I’m absolutely delighted that you’re enjoying the book - you’ve made my day :star: :star2:

You can use “fi hefyd” or for emphasis you can say “a finnau”

Helo Pawb! Just a quick note 2yrs on from this, so late to the party…but I’ve just bought Some Sex And A Hill by SSiW’s very own Aran Jones and wanted to say I cannot put it down, it’s just wonderful, glorious, bendegedig! It’s like we are there with you, Aran, it’s so relatable and brings back those pre-internet years of our youth so vividly. I’m about 3/4 through and don’t want it to end. I’m sure you’re busy but hope you’ll write more when time allows. Thank you so very much for sharing your journey to Cymraeg with us, it’s utterly inspiring; finding out the person teaching us was once a learner too was a massive encouragement when discovered but this book takes it to a new level whilst being laugh-out-loud funny. I am quoting the, ‘smiling at each other in Welsh’, line to everyone I meet! Blessings to you, Catrin and all the teulu.:wales:👏🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
