Is the Slack app only available on IPhone’s, i can’t find the app on my Android phone?
Slack is available on Android, but it probably isn’t preinstalled. So if you didn’t install it yourself, you won’t find it on your phone – you need to install it from within the Play Store.
Tried that link and it says this app won’t work with your device… must be something to do with my phone then. Gutted about that
The only explanation is that your phone is running an older Android version, leading to the incompatibility. I just checked their documentation, and Slack requires Android version 9 or later.
A workaround to use the platform on your phone would be accessing Slack’s web interface by pointing your preferred browser to welshspeakingpractice.slack.com, but I’d imagine that would be kind of clunky to use.
