Should I switch to a structured course?

Hey everyone!
I have already gotten so much helpful and kind advice, thank you all! Here is another one on which I would really appreciate your feedback:
Should I switch to the structured course?

When I started I really wanted to go at my own pace but now some extra activities sound like a great idea. Im currently on level 15 and usually not doing more than one level a week. But I do enjoy doing that one level in one go and then filling the other days with listening to the radio, trying to read a bit on slack, and so on. With the six minutes a day would I still be able to do one whole level or would it necessarily be chunked up?

Have a good day you all! Hannah

I have been doing the 6 minute structured course for a year. That is 1 challenge a week. I have just completed it and now moved on to level 3 which is 2 challenges a week. It has worked really well. I enjoy the weekly motivation that I get from the Monday emails. It adds a bit of extra to it which you don’t get if you go it alone. I would recommend it.

Hi @hannah-deuchler,

I completely agree with Ruth.
I’ve been working my way through the Challenges on my own at first, too, and it went really well and I enjoyed it.
But it’s nothing compared to the structured course! I love the Monday e-mails with the tasks for the week which really are motivating and fun to read and the Practice Hangouts are great, too.
I had holidays these last two weeks and took part in the Hangouts nearly every day (I wish I could attend them this regularly outside of the holidays).
As Ruth said, the 6 Minutes course is one Challenge a week, but you’re free to do it as you please. So as long as you finish the Challenge within those 7 days it’s completely up to if you do it in one go or split it up in any way.
I would definitely recommend it, because I feel like my Welsh improved so much faster now than it did when I worked through the Challenges on my own :sunny:
