OK, me again!
When I clicked on an on-line Geiriadur for another reason, as if by cookie magic, it came up with:
Sgram (the food variety) for quick bite and and sgramio for quickly gobbling up food or something similar.
It showed sgram as a loan word from βscranβ: Eng Ar. I assume that is archaic English, but that it has been in the Welsh Language since the 19th Century.
