Session Time

Just wondering if Session Time, like Lunch time, is an illusion? I have noticed that there are differences between actual elapsed time and the session time displayed on the web page when learning. E.G. today I started at 18:28 and finished at 19:00, but the session time only shewed an elapsed time of 19:28. It isn´t really important but I wondered why?

Did you pause the app at all in that time? Or was it just running continuously?

Admittedly I did pause twice but only for a few seconds each time and certainly nothing that would explain the difference shewn in the Session Time. I will see what happens tonight and I will make a point of not pausing.

So tonight I started at 18:06 and finished at 19:07, I didn’t pause at all and yet the timer shews a session time of 47 mins.

Also I had a screen pop up at 18:37 with the caption “Learning Timer Time for a break? Short breaks improve learning! Reset Timer”

I’m not sure if I’ve seen this before and I have been studying for at least and hour every night for just over a week. Is it a new thing?

That’s not a new thing, but I’ve only experienced it a couple of times when I had the app running for quite some time. I’m not sure how often it’s supposed to pop up, but I’m going to ask. The idea is that it stops the app from carrying on if the user has just gone to sleep, or is doing something else and has forgotten to stop the app.

I’ll report all this about the Session Time to the Tech Team though and let them have a look at what’s happening.
