Roedd and Oedd

The vocabulary for challenge 19 shows Roedd hi’n braf as “It was nice” and yet listening to the sound track it sounds like “oedd” and not “Roedd”. I thought that " Oedd hi’n braf?" meant “Was it nice?”. Please put me out of my misery. lol

Yes, if you want to be correct on a formal grammar level, roedd is for positive statements, oedd for questions and doedd for negative statements. But in natural spoken Welsh it is completely normal to use oedd yn statements, too.
