Does anyone else find that they sometimes only partly remember words/phrases? It seems odd to me - maybe the first time I come back to a new word I can only remember the first letter, the next time it might be the first syllable etc until I remember the whole thing.

Yup, that’s absolutely normal, and is in fact a superb sign that you’re moving at a decent speed (one of the reasons some people get stuck in repeating sessions is because they’re not willing to move on until they have a complete conscious control of each word) - so well done, and keep doing exactly what you’re doing…

Oh God yes I’m in exactly the same boat. I sometimes end up remembering the first half of a sentence, shoving in something about opening doors when it should be closing windows, adding a few rhywbeths here and there to cover the gaps
