Question about 'ddim'

Am I right in the following assumptions when it comes to ‘ddim’?

Firstly, is it correct that ‘yn’ never comes after ‘ddim’ in a sentence, and

secondly, is it correct that no words after ‘ddim’ (in a sentence) mutate because ‘ddim’ itself has taken the mutation.

Thanks for any replies.

You are correct in your second assumption, ddim is itself mutated.
But if you take a negative statement in the present tense, you will see yn following ddim:
Yn anffodus, dw i ddim yn gwybod pryd alla i ddod nôl i Gymru eto - Unfortunately, I don’t know when I can come back to Wales again.

Thanks Hendrik. 50% right not bad.
