My brother Gordon and I were Mair Jones’s (nee Gravelle) children. Her mother (our mamgu) owned the shop on Queen’s square and Tadcu (W J Gravelle) was a music teacher who ran the Llangadog choir.
Since Gordon and I are now well into our seventies, it’ll only be the older generation who remember us and the Gravelles (pronounced with emphasis on the first not the second syllable).
