I have lived in Wales for around 24 years, I have tried to learn welsh in a number of ways but this is the most successful. I perhaps have been also driven by the fact that my five-year-old son is learning at school and I want to understand what he is up to. We have been enjoying learning together as a family.

I live in a fantastic community, Llansadwrn in Carmarthenshire, which is very supportive of all the Welsh learners. And there are quite a few of us. And a lot of Welsh first language speakers who have a great deal of patience with us.
