New Doc Martens

Father Christmas (I always think above my station)

It’s a Wonderful Life because we all change the world a little bit and should reflect on that.

5) All you want for Christmas is…?
To be able to spell Welsh words like Nodolig Llawren without a dictionary.

6) What should Aran get me for Christmas?
Babycham and cocktail cherries and an Andy Williams Christmas record.

I can’t remember about my childhood but when I was a teenager I used to stay awake to see if I could catch Father Christmas.

An Andy Williams Christmas Album on the record player.

9) Who made you laugh most this year?
Me. If I didn’t laugh I’d probably cry.

10) What’s your New Year’s Resolution?
New Year, I don’t think we have had the old one yet!

It might be a bit selfish of me because I’d just want to talk about her books in Welsh for hours but Bethan Gwanas please.

2) What should I get Aran for Christmas?
A month off work. He never switches off.

It should be a room full of Siôn Corns.

National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation because we all need to laugh.

My family around me … unfortunately some of us have to work.

Not getting dressed till just before dinner, playing games on the floor in the living room, riding the streets in the afternoon with everyone else that had a bike (that one year), Bird’s trifle (none of that homemade rubbish), and helping my mum in the kitchen.

8) What are you rocking around the Christmas tree to?
Be careful, not for kids, but has a great message. The hyper capitalist Christmas is such a waste, it would be nice to get back to its Pagan origins.

We all watched Home Alone last night which is always a family favourite … it wouldn’t be nearly as funny without people to laugh along with.

10) What’s your New Year’s Resolution?
To be more positive. I’m a natural pessimist inside. What a downer to finish on, sorry.

I’m not very good at famouses because I can never imagine what I’d say to them.

I like Geraint’s idea of an author. So I’d invite Catrin and Aran.

The Ghost of Christmas Present. He was always the best dressed in my opinion.

For entirely sentimental reasons - A Christmas Carol with Alastair Sim because it’s my Dad’s favourite Christmas tradition. Watch that with mulled wine and mince pies

Time.

I’m going to run a half marathon in 7 weeks
I’m going to meditate for a minimum of 10 minutes each day for 30 days

I am not sure that running a half marathon in 7 weeks is particularly ambitious.
