Elijah ydw i. Dw i’n wrthi’n creu casgliad o’r tafodiethoedd Cymru ar y funud, a dw i’n chwilio am Cofis (dre neu wlad) sy’n fodlon neud recordiadau. Ydy unrhyw un yn nabod pobol sy’n ffitio’r disgrifiad 'ma?

I’m Elijah. I am currently creating a collection of Welsh dialects and I am looking for people who are originally from within 6 miles of Caernarfon (excluding Ynys Môn) to make a few recordings. Do you know anyone who fits that description?

That sounds interesting @elijah-2. Are you doing it as a representative of an institution? Or is it just a personal interest?

It’s just a personal project. I’ve lived in Caernarfon for 5 years now and really like the dialect. I’ve already got 100 Cofi sentences with translation to proper Welsh, but finding people to do recordings has proven a challenge. I only know pobol ddŵad here.
