Playing with social stuff (new app)

We’re doing some fun things at the moment with ideas about how to create social interaction in the new app.

If you’d like to come and play (and help test, and imagine and suggest) then you just need to be on the staging version of the new app, at https://staging.saysomethingin.app/ - which is where all the new stuff gets tested.

While you’re there, you might also notice that we’re playing around with a tool for learning non-Latin scripts - click on the mode selector when you’re in Chinese or Arabic or Korean or Japanese and you’ll see the script option :slightly_smiling_face:

And that’s also where you’ll find the social stuff - but if you’re trying it, do let us know in here so that we know to look for you!

I can’t see the social stuff - where should I find it in the staging version?

There’s a circle with some sort of up and down arrows. Click on that, but make sure you’re signed in first. The social options don’t seem to appear if you’re not - subscribers only :slight_smile:

It’s early doors, and we’ve had to bump a few other things up the list - but if lots of people start asking about the social stuff, we’ll get back into it :slight_smile:
