@Karla is a bit stuck - hasn’t managed to find a place to stay in the Caernarfon area for after the Eisteddfod finishes - and we’re just kicking off on the last big effort to get the chalet ready for my mother, which means Catrin is flat out moving furniture (and fixing things I didn’t even know needed fixing) and we’ve got a carpenter coming in very soon for some roof/doors/ceiling fun, which all put together means it’s going to be impossible for us to put anyone up for a while (we’ve had to cancel at least temporarily for my god-daughter, too).
I’m not sure how long Karla needs/plans to be in the Caernarfon area - but is there anyone who could put her up for a few nights?

We’re having to push on with some urgency with work on the chalet now, so that it’s ready for my mother in law in September, and to be honest I’m having mild panics about the amount I have to get done, as well as my writing and the mountain of work Aran has on his plate. So we’re heads down and on lock down with the chalet from this week onward.

You could also try Travelodge and Premier Inn as well as lastminute.com. But if you decide that Aberystwyth is for you, then it’s packed to the brim with B&Bs! Pob lwc!
If you’re thinking of coming as far South as Aberystwyth, could you come 14 miles further South-East? If so, Maureen & I could put you up for a few nights. It would be easier if you have a car, but there is an occasional bus (T21) from Aber to Ystrad Meurig. PM me if you’d like to take up the offer. T21 Timetable
