Hi,
Throughout the courses (south) I’ve heard ways of saying ‘I need’ and ‘I want’ in present, future and past’ but I don’t think I’ve heard the ‘definite’ past using gneud form i.e. I did need/want something that wasn’t an on going thing. Am I making sense…? Is there a structure for these using ‘gneud’ i.e. wnaeth
e.g.
Mae eisiau I fi (I need)
Mae rhaid I fi (I must)
Bydd eisiau I fi (I will need)
Oedd eisiau I hi (she was needing)
wnaeth eisiau I fi (I did want) ??
Thanks,
Andrew
