Past tense form forms for 'to want/need'

Hi,

Throughout the courses (south) I’ve heard ways of saying ‘I need’ and ‘I want’ in present,future and past’ but I don’t think I’ve heard the ‘definite’ past using gneud form i.e. I did need/want something that wasn’t an on going thing. Am I making sense…? Is there a structure for these using ‘gneud’ i.e. wnaeth

e.g.
Mae eisiau I fi (I need)
Mae rhaid I fi (I must)

Bydd eisiau I fi (I will need)
Oedd eisiau I hi (she was needing)

wnaeth eisiau I fi (I did want) ??

This is an area where Welsh differs from English in that it uses the ‘was’ tense to indicate the past for certain types of verbs and in certain situations - there was a post about it here

Never say never applies in speech however :upside_down_face:

Thanks Rich. I read the link you sent and that explains why I haven’t seen ‘wnaeth’ with those formats.
