'Para' vs 'de'?

I should preface this by saying that I’ve just finished Level 1 (and I am surprised by how much Spanish I can speak, even though I did SSIW so I know how well this approach works).

I have a query about the use of ‘de’ and ‘para’ after ‘tiempo’. I’ve heard both used interchangeably with the construction ‘usted no tenia tiempo de/para comer’. Are they interchangeable?

I’ve also lined up some Spanish speakers to practice with…after the speed of the listening exercises it should be a breeze!!

Yes, they are pretty much interchangeable. I would probably use “de” more than “para”
