PS It may be possible to offer a lift from Oxford to the Shotover car park should you need it. Let me know if you do.

This Saturday 21st Feb, we’ll be meeting up at 1pm in the Shotover Country Park main car park for a walk around Shotover. If you’re thinking of joining us, do bring your walking boots/wellies and, as some of us will be bringing sandwiches, maybe something to eat.

joining us, kept on a lead & very friendly, but usually too distracted to take much notice of people

We’ll be heading to Bernwood Forest for our walk+sgwrs on Saturday (21st March) meeting up just before 1pm in the car park, as shown here:
out for you Five of us had a very enjoyable walk+sgwrs on Saturday in beautiful sunshine, although unfortunately the two dogs (and their owners!) weren’t able to make it on the end.
The next walk will be next month - keep an eye on this thread for all the details.

This month’s walk+sgwrs is going to be on Saturday 25th April.
We’ll be posting details of the route, meeting point etc a bit nearer the time when we’ve a better idea of the effect the weather may have had on conditions underfoot.

We have another walk+sgwrs this coming Saturday 23rd May meeting up at 10:30am just outside Oxford in Kennington’s Forest Side Recreation Ground car park for a walk around Bagley Wood. All welcome but do please let us know beforehand so we can keep an eye out for you

This Thursday 25th June we have another walk+sgwrs meeting up at 8:30am (NB time change) in Bernwood Forest car park for a walk through the forest parts of which are well-known for the number of butterflies that can be seen there.
A very hot day is forecast 
so do bring plenty to drink & sun protection - you know the drill!
