Our high intensity learners - a new group for you

The ideas around High Intensity, while extremely interesting (and probably very important to the future of SSi) have a slightly complicated relationship with the main forum - we don’t want people who are taking a more leisurely approach to feel that they’re doing anything wrong.

Having said that, we don’t want to stop letting people know about what we’re seeing with high intensity.

So I’ve decided to run a separate group on Facebook for people who have done any testing with high intensity (with SSi materials or otherwise) - I think it might turn into a fascinating place - and it means we won’t overload the forum with it.

If you’ve done any high intensity work (I’m thinking about 6 hours a day as a cut-off point at the moment), come along and stick your details in here:

I’ll be getting on with processing requests today, once I get back from parents/teachers at the school :sunny:

Looking forward to hearing more about your experiences on Facebook (and sorry to have to force you back into FB’s clutches!).

@Deborah-SSi - ebost ogydd? :sunny:

So I only made it three hours on Saturday before my brain melted off. Tomorrow is a new day! I gave myself two days off, so tomorrow I’ll try again to do Levels 1-5 + listening exercise in one shot, with only pause buttons for the long sentences.

Have you done some of those already? If so, I’d recommend taking the extra jump into pressing on with as many entirely new sessions as possible, and trusting in the spaced repetition… :sunny:
