“On I am”

Can someone help with the meaning of “on i am” in English please.

Let’s use O’n i am fynd i’r sinema ddoe. as an example, that would translate to I wanted to go to the cinema yesterday.
This construction can also be used in the present tense (“Dw i am …”, etc.) , and in questions (“Wyt ti am …?” etc.)
