Whoo-hoo, another review! Diolch ‘Ein ty yna Jones’ - intriguing name…
no probs
And thank you very much Dave and Leia - Leia, that’s such a lovely review, it means a huge amount to me…
Ooh, and we’re up to 93 for the day…
Woot-woot, 100 for the day. I’m going to stop clicking ‘refresh’ for a while now…
And diolch yn fawr iawn Chris for another very kind review…
And diolch ‘ej’!
And thank you ‘service man’ - short and sweet!
Somebody hashtagged #SomeSexandaHill - I’m now officially tickled pink.
And diolch yn fawr iawn to Netmouse!
Croeso! (One advantage of being still stuck in bed trying to shake off a particularly nasty bug is having time to have a look at that, albeit with a few less brain cells firing than normal.)
Is it something you wrote a while ago and just decided to publish?
Ugh, that sounds horrible - brysia wella!
I wrote it ages ago, and have had it in mind for a while to get around to self-publishing one of these days (and suddenly found a burst of energy to take my mind off moving…;-))…
Glad you got round to it! I didn’t think it sounded quite current somehow.
Proofing it was a complete pain in the neck…
My god. 5 chapters in. It’s like the last 5 months all over again.
I won’t post any spoilers but I recognise every single reaction. My own. And that of people I know.
The blood boiling. The apprehension. The confusion.
Oh how I long for the day I can stop saying I’m a learner!!!
Bought but not read yet. I’m sure it will be a great read, but I misread the title and thought it was “Some sex on a hill” and assumed it was a useful manual for those tricky moments when passion overtakes you on a slope. Apparently I was wrong:blush:
Diolch, that made me laugh…
And diolch yn fawr iawn Siaron am adolygiad hyfryd iawn…
well I have managed to get some work done today, but not as much as I woud have done if I hadn’t read the entire book!
really enjoyed it too - so many parallel experiences. how we didn’t bump into each other in Aberystwyth, I don’t know!
Now that’s a ‘make my day’ kind of response…
Did you go Wlpan in Aberystwyth?
no, but I was in uni there (‘mature’ student, haha) 1999-2003 and Y Cwps was basically a second home. In fact I’m even sure I helped Han with the PA for the Sian James gig you mention!
PS… and that Llanelli one was my first Eisteddfod too!
I’m 5 chapters in and have to force myself to put it down because I have much to accomplish today. Really enjoying it!
Thank you so much, Anna!..
We must, without question, have spent a healthy number of evenings in the Cwps at the same time as each other…
I would have said hello, but I was too busy drowning my many and various embarrassments in drink.
